With the intent to highlight National Physical Therapy Month in October of 2013, an annual community event was born.  Paddleboarding proved to be the ideal movement interface for kids of all ages no matter the level of ability.  With support from Blueline Surf and Paddle, a perfect program was developed to support kids with any developmental challenge, participate on the water.  It was the beginning of celebrating an activity that all families and children could enjoy.  Education for adaptive paddling, both on and off of the boards is provided throughout the day with 1:1 support for all participants.  At our 2015 event, we celebrated putting more than 100 kids on a board with help from volunteers and therapists from all over the county.
