How Young Body Rehab Started

Young Body Rehab was created to provide opportunities for children with movement challenges. Each year was something new – small steps that led to the opportunity to help more children and families discover their best selves and to help provide a roadmap for real life problems. It can be difficult to navigate growth and development challenges and if this could be alleviated with knowledge, equipping the family with strategies and optimism, then that opportunity was worth it.

In 2002, it was the opportunity to provide services in the home and discover how to help children and families live every day.

In 2004, it was the opportunity to provide a clinic with equipment to help children maximize their potential.

In 2006, it was the opportunity to provide European rehabilitation methods and suit therapy (Adeli Method Rehabilitation) in America and begin summer intensive programming.

In 2014, it was the opportunity to provide adaptive paddleboard adventures and in 2016, the opportunity to help host adaptive tennis programs monthly.

We are passionate about using all of our acquired knowledge over the past 30 years to help children of all ages as they gain more movement, more function and live better lives. What we do moves beyond just physical therapy. We provide integrated care and we join families on their journey – we are invested in their long term success.

– Arnaud DeJardins
